Eomug or omug or whatever, is boiled fish paste and tastes like odeng. I think it is also originally from Japan. We can buy this food at the street vendor specially in pojang macha where koreans like to drink soju (korean alcohol). I love to eat omug but i've never tried to cook it at home.
Hubby bought this omug when he came home from work. I like it more when i eat in the street with the sticks and dip in soy sauce. In winter, we see many rolling stores selling this food. Students love this food in stick and the hajuma/ajassi gives free soup in paper cup which makes you warm in winter. I think that's more delicious than eating at home.

salad (green tea dressing)
I usually prepare salad for hubby, not after meals but during meals. Hubby told me to search on the net on how to make salad dressings. I tried but its very complicated. I need much ingredients and i'm not sure if i can make delicious one. I think its just a waste of time and money. Luckily, i found this dressings that hubby likes. I just change the dressings everytime i make salad for him. He likes thousand islands, yoghurt and green tea yoghurt dressings.
I make salad with lettuce, broccoli shoots, and cornflakes. The dressing in this picture is green tea yoghurt.

Jjajangmyeon (black noodles)
Jjajangmyeon is a dish popular among Koreans consisting of wheat noodles topped with a thick sauce made of chunjang (a salty black soybean paste), diced meat and vegetables, and sometimes also seafood. Jjajang is the name of the fried sauce and myeon means "noodle."
In Korea, singles eat jjajangmyeon on Black Day (April 14). The idea is that those who didn't give or receive gifts on Valentine's Day or White Day can get together and eat Jjajangmyeon (짜장면) to commiserate their singledom.

tangsuyug (sweet and sour pork)
Tangsuyug (sweet and sour pork) is one of the famous food in chinese restaurant except jjajangmyeon. I think the most delicious tangsuyug that i've ever tasted in Korea is the one in Sinrakwon restaurant. The meat is soft and not greasy and the sauce is not too sweet and tastes like fruit cocktails.
My mom in law said that i have to learned on how to make tangsuyug and invite her at home but i checked on the internet and couldn't find the recipe. I wish i have enough time so that i can learn and cook tangsuyug for my mom-in-law.

sushi (raw fish)
Sushi is another hubby's favorite food. One day, he was craving for sushi and invited me to go to e-mart near my place. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the sushi that hubby was looking for but there is this kind of sushi that they sell and it's on sale so we bought some. We didn't regret it because it's delicious and hubby is willing to go back there again and buy.
samgyopsal
Koreans like drinking specially alcohol. One of the famous food that they eat while drinking is the samgyopsal. "Samgyopsal" is barbecued slices of pork cooked on a grill in front of you on the table.
It is eaten with some vegetables like lettuce, sesame leaves, fresh garlic, and chilli. There's also a special vegetable with sauce. I make mine as green onion with soy sauce, sesame oil and red chili pepper powder. I also like to put seasoned bean paste and salt with black pepper and sesame oil.

Bibimbap
One of the most famous korean food is bibimbap (Mixed vegetables and meat over rice with hot sauce). This is also one of my hubby's favorite. One time, i've decided to make bibimbap for him and he likes it very much and that he always requested many times for his dinner or lunch. Here's my own version of bibimbap.
I only put 2 eggs, beef, sesame oil, gochujang (chilli paste). I didn't put any vegetables except broccoli shoots that i put when i make salad. Just as simple as that so i couldn't believe that my hubby will like it so much. Maybe, because i put much beef instead of veggies.

chicken
We usually order some food when i'm tired from work or when i come home late. What we usually order is chicken specially when it is already past 10p.m. Our favorites are the 처갓집 (chogatjip), 멕시카나 (Mexicana), 아주커 (ajuker), , B-B-Q 치킨, 숯불 치킨, Pericana and BHC.
Since BHC is one of my favorites so I've collected 10 coupons. And 10 coupons is equivalent to 1 chicken.
