Deep Fried Beef (Seogogi twigim)

Deep Fried Beef (Seogogi twigim) "쇠고기튀김"

Ingredients: 1 lb. beef, 1 cup cornstarch powder, 1 egg salad oil, black pepper, MSG, 2 oz. chinese noodles, 1 tsp. salt, parsley


1. Trim the lean beef and slice it thinly.

2. Cut the sliced beef into bite-sized pieces. Mix the beef pieces with the salt, black pepper, MSG and beaten egg well and dip them in cornstarch powder.

3. Heat the oil in a deep-fry pan and when smoking, add the meat pieces and deep-fry them until golden brown; after few minutes fry them once more.

4. Deep-fry the Chinese noodles and spread them on a plate. Serve the deep-fried beef with kimchi and garnish with the parsley.

Hint: When you deep-fry the beef, do not put too many beef pieces in the hot oil. The oil temperature falls if you add too many at a time.
